An Bang Beach is easily accessible to anyone staying in Hoi An. The most popular way to get to the beach is to ride a bicycle which your accommodation should have for free. From the centre of Hoi An it is a leisurely 15-20 minute cycle along a straight road past some rice fields. If you’re staying a bit further away, you can rent a motorbike or hop in a taxi.

We definitely recommend staying close to the Ancient Town as this has the most restaurant options, and you can also explore the night market in the town. There is no entrance fee to visit An Bang Beach, however there are a few parking scams to be cautious of. As you approach the beach, you’ll be hassled by many people telling you to park in their parking area. Some will even stand in your way insisting that you can’t go further. You can avoid these people and drive straight up to the beach where the main parking area is. The maximum you should pay for parking is 10,000 VND ($0.60 AUD).

An Bang Beach Hoi An is a beautiful and large stretch of beach. It’s the perfect activity for a sunny day as it’s located close to town and only a short and easy bike ride away. As you approach the beach, you’ll notice a variety of local and foreign food options and cafes. The beach itself is full of sun beds and umbrellas which you can rent for 60,000 VND ($3.50 AUD). If you’re looking for some thrill seeking activities, you can find jet skiing and parasailing options all along the beach. An Bang Beach is very clean and well maintained with thin white sand. The water is slightly murky and more green although theres no rubbish or seaweed and it’s very refreshing.
