How to get from Ao Nang To Railay Beach
Railay Beach is easily accessible from the main tourist area of Ao Nang via a quick longtail boat. At both ends of Ao Nang Beach you will find an official ticket booth called the Ao Nang Boat Service Club. The daily boat service runs from 8AM – 6PM. They also run a nightly service from 6PM – 12PM, but you’ll have to pay a little extra.
The longtail boats will leave once there are enough people. You’ll sometimes have to wait a couple of minutes for the boats to fill up but it usually doesn’t take long. There is a seating area in the shade for people who are waiting.
The boat ride will take about 15 minutes where you’ll have stunning views of the surrounding bays and limestone cliffs. You’ll eventually be dropped off at Railay West Beach which is in walking distance to everything in Railay. To get back to Ao Nang, just head back to where you were dropped off and show your ticket to any of the boat captains. They’ll usually be yelling ‘Ao Nang’ so you’ll know where to go.
