How to get to Campuhan Ridge Walk Ubud
Campuhan Ridge Walk is located in central Bali in the town of Ubud. It is roughly 1 hour away from Canggu and 1 hour 20 minutes from Seminyak. To reach Campuhan Ridge Walk, the easiest option would be to hire a moped and drive yourself. You can rent a moped for around 50K IDR ($5AUD) per day. If you’re not a confident driver, the next best option would be to hire a driver. Prices usually start from around 500K IDR ($50 AUD) per day and you’ll be able to see as many stops as you like.
The carpark for Campuhan Ridge Walk is easy to miss as it’s right next to the entrance to a hotel. The entrance is in between a mini mart and a sign for Warwick Ibah Villas. Once you go down the path, keep to the left to find the parking area for the ridge walk. The entrance to the parking area is also quite steep so be cautious when arriving.

What to expect
Campuhan Ridge Walk is an ideal place to spend a morning or afternoon admiring the amazing Ubud scenery. The walk isn’t incredibly strenuous, although it’s slightly uphill at parts. All throughout the trail you’ll walk alongside tall green grass and trees. Once you’ve been walking for around 10 minutes, you’ll come to the top of the mountain ridge. From here you can see the surrounding valleys from a unique perspective. The top of the ridge is the most popular part of the walk and you’ll even occasionally find photographers taking pictures and flying drones along here.
It’s ideal to visit early in the morning or just before sunset so you don’t have to walk in the midday heat. If you’d like to have this place all to yourself, we definitely recommend visiting early in the morning. At this time in the morning, you’re likely to only see a few locals and tourists taking their morning walk. At sunset this place can get very busy with large amounts of people coming to watch sunset as well as take their afternoon walk.
