Canggu Markets Guide – The Most Popular Markets In Canggu
1. Old Mans Market
When: Last Saturday of every month (dates sometimes change so check their Facebook for exact dates)
Time: 8am – 3pm
What to expect: Old Mans Market may only be on once a month, but that doesn’t make it any less busy. People wait all month just to check out the famous Old Mans Market. Everything is sold at this market, including a variety of clothes, food and pastries as well as plenty of unique jewellery. There are also stalls selling organic skin care products and other random goodies. If you happen to be in Canggu when the market is on, we definitely recommend checking it out for yourself.
2. Tamora Gallery Night Market
When: Once a month (The day changes every month so check their Instagram for the exact day)
Time: Sunset – Midnight
What to expect: The Tamora Gallery Night Market is Canggu’s newest market addition and is one of the only night markets in the area. The market is located within the newly built Tamora Gallery which is a shopping complex full of trendy shops and restaurants. At the night market, you’ll find everything from healthy treats to high quality swimwear, jewellery and goods. This market is definitely one of the more upscale Canggu markets, although you’re sure to find some awesome stuff! Once you’re done at the market, you can enjoy the awesome night vibes at Tamora Gallery. The gallery is full of fairy lights, amazing restaurants and even a small skate bowl for any skaters!
3. Love Anchor Weekend Bazaar
When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 9am – 5pm
What to expect: Love Anchor Weekend Bazaar is one of our favourite Canggu markets. Here you’ll find endless jewellery, awesome clothing and also souvenirs. One thing that makes markets in Canggu so special is that the items don’t look cheap or touristy. You can find plenty of coconut bowls and cutlery which you could put in your house and would look awesome. You’ll find nothing but good vibes at the Love Anchor Weekend Bazaar. Love Anchor is actually open daily with a few stalls, although the bazaar is only on weekends.
4. Samadi Sunday Market
When: Every Sunday
Time: 9am – 2pm
What to expect: The Samadi Sunday Market is the perfect place if you’re after organic goods and eco friendly clothing. The first thing you see as you enter the market is the wide variety of food, drink and organic baked items which all look so delicious! There is also plenty of jewellery and even a cafe if you want to sit for a proper meal. The Samadi Sunday Market is ideal for any fruit and veg lovers.
5. La Laguna Gypsy Market
NOTE: La Laguna is currently closed for renovations until 2020
When: Every Sunday
Time: 4pm – 10pm
What to expect: The La Laguna Gypsy Market is the perfect place to find all your organic needs from soaps to handmade creations, as well as clothes and jewellery. Located right on the beach front, the Gypsy Market is the ideal spot to spend a Sunday evening underneath the fairy lights while enjoying the live music. This market is a Canggu favourite and there’s no doubt as to why! The market is nothing but good vibes and you’re sure to leave with some awesome locally made items.

For roughly $17AUD per day, you’ll have your own private room with a patio, private bathroom and large glass windows so you can look out into the beautiful garden. The rooms are also very clean and are cleaned daily by the maid.
