The best way to get around the island is to rent a scooter. A scooter will cost you 70k IDR for the day.
What to expect at Dream beach Nusa Lembongan
Once you park your bike, you will instantly come across the first view point on the cliffs edge which has clear views of the pristine blue beach below. Here you’ll also find a set of bamboo swings. This is a great spot to sit and listen to the waves crash onto the sand.
To the left of the viewpoint, there are restaurants and even an infinity edge pool which is open to the public for 50K IDR. The pool is an ideal spot to grab a drink and enjoy the sun on a hot day or watch the sunset in the evening. The walk down to the beach takes no more than 2 minutes, with only a short walk down some stairs.
If you’d like to view the beach from a different angle, there are various viewpoints not far from the first. To get to them, follow along the dirt pathway near the bushes where you parked your bike. You can walk along the cliffs edge to find openings between the shrubbery that reveal the beach. Here you can enjoy another amazing view of Dream Beach and you can also capture some photos from a different perspective.
The viewpoints located along the cliffs seem to be a popular spot which many tourists flock to. If you’re looking to get away from the crowds you’ll have to arrive early in the day. Don’t let the large groups of tourists discourage you from visiting Dream Beach. Most don’t actually walk down to the sand as they only take photos at the viewpoints then leave.
