What to Expect
Happy Valley Caloundra is a beautiful and relaxing spot to enjoy a swim or to have a picnic. The parkland area stretches between two beaches, offering plenty of BBQ’s, picnic tables, toilets and also children playgrounds. There are stairs leading down onto the sand where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters.
You’ll also be able to see where the incredible blue river meets the ocean. The sandbanks cause different shades of blue to appear which are beautiful to look at. Happy Valley was recommended to us by a local in the region and we were shocked at how blue the water actually was. This spot was certainly one of our favourite places in the Sunshine Coast.
Be sure to check out Bulcock Beach for another great place to swim close by in the calm waters.
