How to get to Little Adams Peak Ella
Little Adams Peak Ella is a short walk from the centre of town and the path is really easy to follow. It’s one straight road the whole way there, although we used our phones GPS just to make sure we went the right way. From town, the walk takes 40 minutes to reach the very top. The path has a slight incline with some stairs at the end so it’s pretty accessible to everyone. You can also take a tuk tuk to the start of the walk.
Where to stay in Ella
Ella is a small town with many of the accommodation options being located in or close to the main strip. We stayed at Relaxing Home stay and definitely recommend it! The owner was lovely, it was in a perfect location and the room was the size of a studio apartment. It’s also super affordable. Another nice place to stay is Hotel Onrock which has spacious rooms and awesome views of the surrounding mountains.

Best time to visit /entrance fee
The walk is open 24/7 and there is no entrance fee. There are local farmers in the area that ask if you want a photo with them, however just be aware that they will demand money once you take the photo.
It’s definitely best to visit Little Adams Peak early in the morning around sunrise. The lighting is much better, it’s way quieter and it’s easier than going in the hot midday sun. The spot is one of the most popular places in Ella so it does get very very busy. Most people start to visit around 9am so it’s best to go before then. During the rainy season, the fog and rain starts to roll in at 10am so if you go early you’ll most likely beat the stormy weather. There are also lots of friendly dogs around the viewpoint that will keep you company!
