The waterfall is easy to get to and is located very close to the town of Pai. The easiest option to get there is to rent a motorbike and drive yourself there. You can rent a motorbike for as little as 100 Baht per day. The drive will take you roughy 15-20 minutes. From the parking area, it’s only a short 2 minute walk till you reach the waterfall.

The town of Pai is small although it has plenty of places for you to stay. Wherever you stay in Pai, you’ll be close to a variety of food and cafe options. We stayed at the Rainbow House Pai and drove into town on our scooter everyday. A popular hostel in the middle of town is also Hugga Pai.

Mor Paeng Waterfall Pai is open all day so you can head there as early or as late as you like. There is also no entrance fee.

Mor Paeng Waterfall Pai is an awesome and fun day out. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy yourself and to cool off from the heat. Mor Paeng is also one of the most popular waterfalls in Pai. This place can get quite busy on a hot day due to it being so close to town. You’ll find plenty of locals and tourists perched along the rocks as they enjoy the sun and watch others slide into the water below.
The waterfall consists of three levels and each of them have a slight slope. The water flows down the three different tiers where it finally reaches the small pool at the bottom. This spot is ideal for those looking to cool down and swim in the refreshing water. Additionally, the bottom slope is perfect for those looking for a thrill as you can slide into the pool of water below.
The smooth surface of the rocks makes it possible to slide down without it hurting at all. Just take caution where you slide as the water in some parts is quite shallow. It may be best to watch locals or other people doing it first so you know where the safest spot is.
