Our top picks for waterfalls in the Philippines that you must visit!
Cambugahay Falls is located on the Island of Siquijor. It consists of three tiers, each with it’s own rope swing. You can launch yourself into the turquoise waters at one of the available rope swings or spend the day watching other people swing by. Since we enjoyed our time here so much, we had to go back for a second visit. For everything you need to know about this Philippines waterfall you can check out our blog on Cambugahay Falls here.
Aguinid Falls is one of the lesser talked about waterfalls in the Philippines but that doesn’t make it any less stunning. This Philippines waterfall is located in the south of Cebu island. It features 5 unique levels, each having their own magical touch. Aguinid Falls was one of the more natural experiences we’ve had, compared to the other waterfalls in the Philippines. You’ll need a guide to help you traverse the 5 different levels as you climb up the side of the waterfalls. If you’re looking for something adventurous and less touristy, then this waterfall is perfect. For more information, check out our blog on Aguinid Falls here.
Tumalog Falls is located in the south of Cebu island and is a popular stop after swimming with the Oslob whale sharks. This Philippines waterfall features a massive wall of unique and mossy rock formations. The water also creates a mystical mist as it cascades off the top and plummets into the bright blue water below. This waterfall is truly an incredible sight and one that we highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. For more information on Tumalog Falls click here.
Last but not least, we have Kawasan Falls, one of the most iconic waterfalls in the Philippines. Kawasan is known for having blue, gatorade like water and is also known for it’s popular canyoneering experiences. Kawasan Falls is located in the municipal of Badian. However, we stayed in the area of Moalboal to make it easier for us to get to Kawasan Falls. For information on what to expect and how to get there, you can check out our blog on Kawasan Falls here.
